Betawi madness

How often do you see hundreds and thousand of people gathering in same place at the same time? I saw a couple of sample of madness in Jakarta yesterday. First one is still acceptable, because they are soccer supporter famously named JakMania. Mostly just young people, say around Junior - Senior High year. All were wearing orange reminding me of those Philippine's jail flashmob dancing but this one with unsynchronized noise instead of Michael Jackson's song.

The second madness was a bit too much.. I meant totally crazy with the capital C. People queued for some Crocs? It's like a big giant snake queue line. Even one of the national newspaper covered this madness phenomena. George B. Boedecker, Jr must have smile as big as real croc on his face!

This madness is kinda Ironic to me and I reckon there will be a lot like this in future.... remember that breadtalk and J.Co phenomena a couple of years ago.
Wouldn't be easier if they could do this online?
