33B33/17 - own a nice computer

I officially said goodbye to Mr Mac Jr on early May after almost inseparable for four years.  He was a good companion, he even sleep next to me on my bed every night and yes, we had our moment(s) too in the bathroom.
But I've been thinking to replace him since last year, just because simply he is not that junior anymore. I need to kick him up to get him and all the files back twice  - those were really tragic moments, the second time he came back like a total stranger.  My eldest brother adopted him and I think he is in better hand now. I haven't seen him since I moved to LLG.

So, now I have new partner, more mature and slightly bigger. His name is Mr Prostaffelees - after Mr Mistoffelees of Cats the Musical. I thought I named him after this magical character because I love Cats the Musical very much and of course, it's a cat's name, just trying to be consistent to Steve Jobs.

So far Mr Prostaffelees is doing great, we worked on some images and docs... but surely missing Mr Mac Jr, you cute white chubby lappie.. XOXO cup

Illustrated bag

I've got this awesome bag from pianofuzz Projects as a gift from my friend. The bag it self is one of the first series of three prints of the collection "Artist in Residence" in F/W 2010.

The Illustration printed on this NY brand bag, LeSportspac, is called Way of Experience which represent the natural and organic evolution of creation and all the way necessary to the composition of something new.

Waaaa... how cool is that! This is the first time ever I have bag with story in it. I will wear it with pride! LOL

Here are some illustrations come from the same series and other illustration projects.

Shoes for the rainy season

This is one of the big problems I have when living in Jakarta, the impossibility of walking and wearing nice shoes in the rain. Not just because the extremely heavy rain - we never have the romantic shower rain here, but also uneven roads - there are muds everywhere.
I remember once occasion required me to move from one mall to another mall. I have to give up my favorite nautical inspired flat shoes in the seconds steps.
So, I was extremely happy when receiving this newsletter from divinecaroline. Happy enough as if my pupil were bigger and my face was warmer when reading and looking at these shoes..

Water-Resistant Pump

Water-Resistant Pump
I loved this sexy red pump with the three-inch-heel by Slow and Steady Wins the Race even before I knew it was water-repellent and made from red nylon. Now I can imagine nothing more romantic, or satisfying, than these shoes and I taking long walks in the rain together. So great to finally find the shoes that I can live splashily ever after with!

Rain Level Boots
We Irish have all sorts of colorful language to describe rain (i.e., mist, drizzle, soft rain, hard rain, pissing rain, biting rain, pelting rain, and so on …); these clever Rain Level wellies from Regina Regis would allow me to up the ante in the conversation by declaring the exact quantity of rainfall. Great gift for a meteorologist/Irish person. Available in nine great colors.

Tapestry Melissa
When I think of waterproof shoes, I always think of Melissa sustainable rubber shoes first; they're practical (they can be washed in the sink), comfortable (mold to your feet after a few wears), and—as if that wasn't enough—the brand is always pushing itself to be stylish and inventive, too. Love this eclectic peep-toe tapestry shoe from the Melissa x Alexandre Herchcovitch fall 2010 line.

Just thought I wanted to keep this for my self later....   cup

Rain rain

I actually love rain, especially the smell of wet ground and grass. But I hate rain IF it definitely have great potential to ruin my shoes <-- this mean outdoor and require me to walk on uneven surface, sorry I have to correct that: walk on thousands small ponds just to get to the car. Uugghhh, that would only make me look like a frog wearing tutu! Here are some shots from the car when my brother and I heading home. Everything will get ugly when you try to take picture while car in motion.
PS: shoes are save, because I decided to walk barefoot. cup

New year - New Re-shoe-lution

I remember early last year when all those wedges shoes suddenly appear in most of the shop-fronts, I swore that I wont buy any of this hideous overweight shoes. However... after staying at home and have deep bonding with TV for the last 1 week, especially those old TV series like I Dream of Jeannie, Bewitched, Agent Smart, and random oldies movies, my thought slowly shifted.

So... I know I made a promised not to buy more shoes at least until the moving done, but you just cant resist this classic look wedges heel peep toe shoes in cheap absolutely affordable price from Rubi shoes.
*this probably only last for 3 months, that will give me another reason to buy new one.
