Bird-day

Bwaaaaaa... another birthday. Had dinner with family and friend at a small steak house, very very cheap one, while watching soccer match between Indonesia and Laos in AFF Cup. Surprisingly they did very well, 6-0 score! Even better than the last match against Malaysia with score 5-1 for Indonesia.

It's a fantastic achievement, knowing that we never won anything for the past-forever. Oh and haven't heard anything about crazy supporter either recently. Wow... are they really celebrating my birthday until that level?   Me feel honoured.. 

Baby Brother Bday Bash

My Baby Brother turned 28 this month, as usual we had dinner together like any other normal good family will do, but this one would be in a hawker stall and minus sweet prayer. Food was great -I had extra portion of fried flat rice noodle with gravy, me hungry!
Cake was cute - we had about 3 minutes looking and poked at it before he actually blew the candle and cut it. It was too cute. You should see the shoes and the rucksack..

Hhhhhh.. I remember when I was 28, life could be so unpredictable ... ok actually dont know why I said that, probably I just love the sound when you pronounce uhn-pri-dik-tuh-buhl.

Anyway, happy b-day again Welee...

Parents' birthday

Here comes the birthday season. I always think that my parents birthday is kinda like the opening date of Birthday Festival in my life since most of people whom I care will have theirs in June and July - Yes, that include you.

We managed to sneak in a small yummy black forest cake in early morning on my dad's bday and have a very casual dinner on mom's bday. The best gift this year would be from Dr Otte, when yesterday he finally confirm my dad's surgery come out good and he may continue his regular activity while keeping healthy diet.

Bday-v2.0

As usual your bday gift(s) always unique, original and rather silly. It's like a romantic comedy with a dark humor twist at the end!!
Finally this year (sadly the last one) I complete my bedroom series artwork. Ahmed gave me one of his painting - suppose to show his interpretation of a Khapoosh which then he corrected as 'any male figure'

FYI (from L-R) the second artwork was bday card from RuAhm for my last bday, the 3rd artwork was valentine card from Ruarua, and 4th was bday gift from Yang Yan for my bday 2 years ago.

Here is the card from RuAhm+Yafa this year.. with Ahmed's sketch of me doing tribal ritual killing a Khapoosh and Yafa's painting on the background (I assume it was some sunny clouds over the killing ritual!)

Thanks also for the baggy jeans tote bag, house&garden book and Stamfording tonight. I had fun and it's like doing meditation but with 2 evil witches instead of my inner self!
Now what should I do next year without your crazy card and painting?

Bday dinner

Small but essential!! That's the words I would say about my Bday dinner this year. Only with my housemates and some closest friends.
Definitely crazy about the Bohemian style interior and ladies room of Boho bar. Fun and Fascinating! - even the juggler somehow hypnotized us to fall asleep looking at his magick balls
I think I will have 1 last high tea next year here..


Thanks guys for coming, although some of you were/are not feeling well. I'll make sure WengWeng settles in at his new home in Jakarta.

Lucky Beer hunting - completed...

My first b-day gift this year from Neil and Marie... I'm wondering why they gave me empty bottle? but datzokey!! I HAVE LUCKY BEER BOTTLE!!!!!! yay!!!

Early celebration

Ok, I know that today was suppose to be office's Xmas lunch, but I pretended the whole crazy celebration was my early bday party (at least the food!). I love all recipes Mr John and Scott taught in college, but for today I couldn't stop eating meringue. Tho they said it's a bit soggy and not crunchy.. Lucky me I never eat meringue before.. so it still taste like sweet heaven!

Yafa's 1st

Either she grows so fast or time fly so quickly.. from baby bump to tiny tot to cute curly hair girl. Yafa is turning 1 this week.

Great orange party eventho we had gloomy weather. Nice foods and lots of cakes!! Congratulations Ahmed+Rua.. cant believe it's been almost 2 years already since you guys said "we are quiting sushi for the baby". Now.. let's have some sushi next week!! LOL

Rua's Birthday

Happy Birthday Rua!!
It was a really long night last Friday. We were celebrating Rua's bday with a mini pub crawl. Started with big dinner and a shot of French pussy at Havelock hotel ; the red laprechaun troop marched from Hutt St to East End. more beers at Exeter, Free style dancing at The Elephant, Bull ride at Woolshed and wild karaoke at Sue's entertainment.

Sue's b-day

Another year gone and come new age. Sue's getting 1 year older this early june. Dinner party was at Caffe Amore and somehow accidentaly we had this colour theme: Black, red and white which goes well with the Caffe's interior.

Lot's of gifts, food and love.

What we learnt:
- Entertainment book is really usefull
- Helium gas caused addiction

Marrie's b-day

Yay.. who said no one should celebrate his b-day early?! 4 days earlier than her original b-day, Marie took us all to Zapata's tonight. Great place, nice service!

B-day Party

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaa.. Have to say thank you for everyone who could come to my b-day party after last minute decision to change location. You just need to rely on the weather forecast!! No way we could wear bathing suite next to the outdoor pool in windy cold day on Sat.

- Rua & Ahmed, thanks for the rotten banana as a symbol how cheap and low maintenance our friendship is. (tho I thought our friendship can be a bit high, $2 maybe??). I love the snoopy and the original library card inside. so VINTAGE!!! I already put the sketch on my side table. It really goes with IKEA furniture :P and yea... I totally am serious about selling it to Ebay one day. Will use the Spa voucher once I have time. :D
